Dr Ahmad Yunus Hairi Exco Bari Kerajaan Negeri Selangor |
PAS in the opposition's position is seen threatened, and portray the party's assemblymen in Selangor are not eligible to take such an important portfolio.
Passes need to explain to the public Is the the party is out of qualified candidates to hold the portfolio of Islamic Affairs until the position had to carried by the Chief Minister of Selangor, Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim. Why they did not defend the religion portfolio should be held by PAS, or PAS has no eligible candidates in the state hold that position? PAS should be to the front when not appointed executive council of the party candidates, the situation is so shocking and people getting confused by the policy.
The action taken by Chief Minister of Selangor, Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim took over the portfolio of Islamic Affairs, previously held by Datuk Dr. Hasan Ali showed that Selangor PAS no longer had the confidence of alliance partners. Why should Abdul Khalid holding the portfolio, while still other candidates more qualified and suitable for the position than him.
Does it reflect khalid if the position held by PAS assemblyman, then the same story will be repeated as assertive Dr Hassan Ali performing the requirements of Islam in Selangor? Or Khalid has now pressed by unseen hands who is looking Islam is not implemented in Selangor?
PAS needs to be firmly in the Islamic Affairs, as the PAS established based upon the strength to uphold Islam in Malaysia. How could a party that practices pluralism, which allowed religious equality in regulating the conduct of the affairs of Islam. Islam is a religion of divine origin. Islam can not be placed on par with other religions as the federal constitution which put Islam as the official religion.
With missed this very important portfolio hands of the improper, PAS should be responsible and ready to face the consequences of the disorder in their leadership. each action is not necessarily going to show the impact in a hurry. But in the long run if that is not contained or absorbed PAS PAS still face the erosion of trust and imbalance.
